In my perfect little world, my days would consist of evenly spaced out and completely nutritious, all-organic meals, with an abundance of fruits and vegetables, of course. In reality, my days fly by in a blur of sleep deprivation mixed with Chai Tea, running from one thing to the next, with barely enough time to make a sandwich. On the days that I’m not working, my darling little gives me 30 minutes increments at best to get anything done. I’m not confident about breakdown-free errands yet, so grocery shopping is almost non-existent.
All this is to say that my diet is far from ideal and I’m still trying to learn how to transition to motherhood successfully. Which is why I’ll jump at any life hack that comes my way. One of my new favorites is Amazing Grass Elixirs!

Amazing Grass Elixirs – My Nutrition Hack
The timing of trying these Amazing Grass Elixirs could not have been better. Postpartum and living on little sleep, once the meal train meals stopped coming we were pretty awful at cooking healthy for ourselves. Even before kids, life was so busy that finding time to eat correctly was a challenge.
I’ve been back to work for more than a month now and I’ve now had about a month to try these products. Here’s why they now have a raving fan in me!
There are 3 Elixirs; Beauty, Brain, and Belly. They claim to contain adaptogens, which I had to look up (don’t judge) ;). Adaptogens are natural substances that are supposed to help the body adapt to stress and exert a normalizing effect upon bodily processes.
Help me adapt to stress? Yes, please!
All the elixirs come in a green powder form that you can easily mix into liquids and smoothies. They blend very well and have a pleasant taste. It’s not overpowering so you can mix them in with all kinds of smoothie ingredients. Did you catch some of mine on Instagram?
My favorite was the Beauty Elixir; it smells delicious, which makes sense since has ingredients like Hibiscus flower, Indian Gooseberry, and Blueberry Juice. It also contains Yumberry, which I didn’t even know was a thing but is obviously bound to make anything taste good!
The Belly and Beauty Elixirs are also a breastfeeding mother’s dream. They include Moringa leaf, which is an herb that I had already been taking to increase my milk supply (the Brain Elixir has this as well but it also lists sage, which can decrease it). Several lactation consultants told me that the better your nutrition, the better your supply. I notice a big difference when I take Moringa alone. When I took it in the form of the elixirs, packed with a powerhouse full of other healthy ingredients, for me it worked wonders!
I noticed an uptake in my energy level with all of the elixirs. Since I’m chronically energy deficient, that’s enough for me to put this in my daily routine for life!
The three elixirs also come in individual dose packets. I have to admit that I wasn’t a big fan of mixing them in plain water. It wasn’t bad tasting, it just wasn’t good either (in my opinion). However, when I mixed it in coconut water or another type of juice, I liked it! So I think it’s just about finding the right liquid base. I love the convenient little pouches and I like to keep them in my purse whenever I need a boost. Which is fairly often tbh 😉
In summary, I have noticed more energy, a lifted mood, and even better skin with the Amazing Grass Elixirs. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself!
