Happy May! How was your May Day? Here in Seattle, May Day is no longer dancing around the maypole and leaving flowers at your neighbor’s door. We have city-wide “May Day Riots” (sigh), which this year were pretty well controlled. I can’t actually tell you what they are protesting either.
May is always a crazy month in my world. It’s my birthday month (yay!?) and a lot of my friends also have May birthdays. I think May babies find each other, I really do! The year activities all wind-down, and as the weather warms up the social events ramp up with it. There are so many things to love about May, even if I definitely do not like getting older ;-).
What are your favorite things about this month?

May Goal Setting
Every month I like to list out my monthly goals to keep myself accountable. I also love hearing and reading other people’s goals because they motivate me and often give me new ideas.
*Normally I like to check in and see how I did on the previous month’s goals but I forgot to record April’s goals in last month’s post so I’m just going to list May’s.
Start planning my husband’s Birthday party. It’s less than six months away now and I need to get on it. It’s a milestone party so I want to make it special!
Stick with Tone It Up’s Bikini Challenge.
To be completely honest it’s only one week in and I’ve already messed up. It’s discouraging and makes me want to quit altogether, but I’m going to keep trying to press forward when I fail. My goal is simply not to give up and stick with it to the best of my ability.

The current one is outdated and needs improvement.
Move forward with the redesign.
I supposedly am supposedly getting a big facelift on here. I’m hoping that can happen by the end of the month.
Get newsletter out.
Make progress with spring cleaning.
Plant new flowers/herbs.
What are your goals or exciting things coming up this month? Leave them in the comments so we can hold each other accountable.
Have a wonderful month and savor it because it will be gone before we know it!
