Happy Friday! You guys, it is gorgeous right now in Seattle. I can’t even tell you. Maybe it’s that it’s been so dreary for weeks that makes this little run of weather so magnificent or maybe I’m just so deprived of Vitamin D that my body is finally getting what it needs. Either way, it’s getting this weekend off to a vibrant start. I get to spend some quality time with my mom, a spa day with a friend, a gala, a cute baby and celebrating my Dad’s Birthday all in one glorious weekend. Plus it’s the Oscars! Who’s watching?

You know that fun thing I do every Monday where I link up with B Loved Boston for weekending? Last week I was in for a major treat as she had a guest post from Sequins and Seabreezes with these Strawberries and Champagne Truffles. These look elegant and delicious, and I can see them classing up all kinds of events. Like my dream Oscar party I’ll be hosting one day….
Is it wrong that I am already craving spring fashion? Is it all this Vitamin D?How pretty is this Eliza J Dress!

Suja drinks. I’ve had my eyes on these for a little while but I wasn’t sure if they’d be worth the cost, so when I was offered the chance to try them I was more than a little excited. My first impression was the variety. They have 13 “classic”, 4 probiotic, and 14 “Essential” flavors. That’s a lot.
What I love is that they’re cold pressed and maintain most of their nutrients (of which they have plenty). When I do make my Glowing Green Smoothie (from Kimberley Snyder) I can never get a super smooth consistency. I could get it with my juicer but it takes forever and a lot of produce to yield little juice. Suja drinks are super smooth. I was able to try nine of them and there wasn’t one flavor that I couldn’t finish. That doesn’t sound super positive but it is considering that all the green juices I tried contained celery. I hate celery and when I tried the “sweet greens” drink at Starbucks I nearly lost it after one sip. So for me to finish all of Suja green drinks with celery is saying something. Although Suja, if you’re listening could you please make some without the celery? Blech.
I also really like how they set up some of the drinks in order of when to drink it throughout your day. For example, “Twilight Protein” was a Step 3 drink and I drank it after my night volleyball workout. I think that was one of my favorite drinks/smoothies. Anyway, next time you see them try it and let me know what you think!

Any Unsplash users out there? Did you know they have an extension for chrome? Every time you open a new tab they pick a new stock photo and if you like it you can download it right there without having to go to the site. It’s an instant time saver. I try to use my own most of the time but my photog skills are far from there yet.
What are you loving now? Life is too short to not appreciate the small things that make us smile, am I right?! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Follow me on Instagram for weekend fun or hashtag #HaloChasing so I can see your weekend shenanigans :).
