Chasing My Halo’s Best of 2015
What better way to finish off the #52WeeksA4A Challenge than with some reflection on this last year.
In truth, my 2015 can be summed up like this:
It wasn’t the worst year I’ve had, but I’m definitely not sad to see it go. 🙂 However, there is still a lot to be thankful for here in Chasing My Halo land. So let’s take a walk down memory lane, shall we?
February – I started the Prana #Take The Leap Yoga Challenge, which not only taught me some new poses, but it was a challenge I actually finished!! This month also brought one of my favorite Valentine’s Days to date, with the Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt! My Dad turned 60, and I made him a Memory Lane Birthday Basket.
March – I put together a St. Patricks’ Day Roundup, and tried to get a jump on my spring cleaning with How I Plan On Breaking The Cycle of Mess. March finished strong with my Palm Sunday Tablescape post.
April – I tried my first recipe (Goji Berry Overnight Oats) and OOTD (outfit of the day) post. Bella and Baxter (the fur babes) took over the blog this month, and I attended my first blogging conference through Social Fabric, which I wrote about here.
September – Fall was in the air with Vanilla Pumpkin Butter Football Shaped Appetizers and DIY Fall Foot Scrub. We took a trip to Guemes Island with some friends, and I got to get fashion advice from Rachel Zoe!
October – Wasn’t this like yesterday?! Anyway, I threw Bella a 10 year Dog Birthday Party, whipped up a Healthy Halloween Smoothie, and had fun at the Local Pumpkin Patch. I also created my first Instagram Photo Challenge (#ChasingMyOctober), which was a lot of fun!
November – I shared what I learned about lung health, created a more in-depth recipe with my Cheesy Quinoa Cauliflower Casserole, and tried to get organized for the holiday season. At the end of the month I shared my Advent Wreath Tutorial.
It was fun looking back and seeing areas of growth. I have never considered myself very creative, but I think I forced myself this last year to stretch in that area! It was my first complete year of blogging, so hopefully I can take what I’ve learned and catapult into 2016! I hope you’ll be there with me :).
Stay tuned tomorrow for my reveal on 2016, Year of _______.
