September is….structure and routines, changing colors with the arrival of Autumn, football season, fall TV, and our Anniversary! As a kid I didn’t like September because I didn’t want to be back in school, and it wasn’t a very “fun” month. It’s funny how things can change. I adore summer, but I also welcome the structure that September brings even if I’m not in school anymore. September means the start of fall, the season I’m SO in love with that we picked it as the month to get married in:).
There is a lot to celebrate in September, but if you are having trouble finding something and a Starbucks PSL doesn’t do it for you, then hopefully this fun list of National Days below will give you a little push. It’s the little things ;-).

Let’s see how I did with August.
Finish those 2 books!- Semi Nailed it. I finished one, and the other is for work so I’m struggling but it will get done.
Complete a squat challenge– Failed it. I just didn’t start on time and then was way too far behind.
Be consistent with my Fitbit /10,000 steps a day and water intake. Aim for at least 5 days to meet the goal! Semi-nailed it. I didn’t meet the 5 days a week every week, but I was much more intentional this month for the most part.
Get on that media Kit Failed it. Man I’m feeling lame right now.
Start thinking about a different blog design Nailed it. I have something in mind and a person to help me with it.
Start researching and planning for my fantasy football league!! YAY!!! Nailed it. Well at least getting the league together. My research was lacking but I think I drafted ok.
Continue to make progress in the Bible-In-A-Year Plan Failed it. What DID I do this month?
Go on at least one nice hike. Failed it, but scheduled for this Labor Day weekend.
Sleep! I’m going to keep this on here until I improve! Asleep by 11:00. This will happen! Semi Nailed it. About 50% better than usual. Hoping to continue this trend.
Final analysis on August is that I may have bitten off more than I could chew. It was a fun month filled with summer activities, but apparently I wasn’t too focused on those specific goals. All I can do is try to improve in September! Let’s get it:).
