A Bulu Box was given me to try in exchange for an honest opinion. Weekending is still the same format, and I’m linking it up with all those lovelies at B Loved Boston.
Hello Weekenders! I hope your weekends were filled with all good things:). It was a blustery one here in Seattle, with city-wide power outages and stormy weather. Hints of autumn were definitely in the air!
I saved Friday to do some research because I have done none, and am usually a lot more ready come draft day (which was Saturday)! I have to admit that I was so exhausted from the week that I ended up crashing without my draft strategy:(. Pretty exciting Friday night, eh?
Saturday morning I trudged through the windy weather to go to a lovely brunch and a movie with some of the women of my church. It was an uplifting afternoon, even if the power did go out during our movie! We saw War Room, which was about prayer and it definitely left a big imprint on me along with a renewed commitment to improve in that area in my life.
Following the movie I ran over to pick up the large order of Buffalo Wild Wings and bring them over to our live fantasy football draft party. I love doing drafts live because it’s a chance to get together with your friends and talk about football, trash talk, and eat (of course) all in the name of fun. You’ll hear me babble about my team Gridiron Gingers for the next few months so gird yourself readers ;-). After all, a pretty awesome trophy and a lot of pride is at stake here!
So what does our draft party look like?
A little research…
A bunch of decisions.
A control center.
And a lot of fun!
Sunday brought some sun breaks (and the power finally came back on for many) and a post church lunch with a friend that doubled as a brainstorming session. Time flew, visions were discussed, and that pretty much brought the weekend to a close, but not before I destroyed this wet burrito!
Before we bring this party to an end I wanted to give my opinion on a fun subscription box that came my way. My health and wellness journey is an up and down one, but it’s one that I try to improve with the ultimate goal of consistent healthy choices. With that in mind, I was excited to try a Bulu Box.
The box itself made me smile with all of its encouraging messages so I was already eager for what was inside. A big variety of healthy treats to try came tumbling out containing everything from vitamins to wine discounts! My favorites were definitely the multi vitamins. We are always looking for vitamins that do not have ingredients like soy lechtin (E is allergic) or corn, and these Martha Stewart ones appeared to be made of quality ingredients. Plus they are gummies so it’s like tricking your brain that it’s candy! The other sample that I know will come in handy is the stomach relief to-go. It’s a perfect complement to my mini purse med kit!
Bulu Boxes would be a great fit for anyone that is a health and fitness lover and wants to try new products before committing. The best thing is that if you end up loving the sample you can purchase the full size through their shop. You can even gather points up from doing monthly surveys and get money off those full size products which is even better!
Right now Bulu is offering 50% off 3,6, or 12 month subscription boxes on BuluBox.com when you use the code SWEATPINK. You can expect 4-5 vitamins, supplements, and healthy snack samples to try. They’ll even come in that motivational packaging! I’m all for anything that leads me to a healthier life:).
Have a wonderful week!
