Weekly Wishes

Hello, Monday! I squeezed every drop out of this last weekend as humanly possible and it was so worth all the crazy. Saturday I was at SoFabU On the Road, my first blogging conference/event. I learned SO much from the people at Social Fabric and even more from my fellow bloggers. I’m still digesting it and hope to let you know more about it in the next couple of weeks, but it blew away all my expectations!

SoFabOnTheRoad Seattle

Bright and early Sunday I did the Seahawks 5K with my mom. This is the 2nd year I’ve walked it with her and before that I ran the 12k option. I have to say walking is a nice way of getting some bonding time and exercise in! Today my red face came from the gorgeous weather not my body’s fight or flight response. My eyebrows look snow-white amidst my beet red face after a run, it’s not pretty! 019

023 I’m blaming my hot mess race look on sleep deprivation but isn’t my Mom cute?!

After the race I headed home to watch an exciting come from behind, high scoring 11-10 Mariners victory (it’s been a roller coaster start) and then started in on hosting a dinner for some close friends that are expecting their first baby soon! We are getting our time in while we can 😉

One broken plate, a helpful sous chef and 40 minutes behind schedule later it actually tasted pretty decent! I loved the way it paired together and looked fancy although fairly easy to make on its own. If you are looking for ideas for fancy-yet-simple try these lemon chicken piccataduchess potatokale salad with warm cranberry vinaigrette, and raspberry shortbread tarts recipes!

Aren’t these tarts adorable? Homemade and easier than they look!

Weekly Wishes

Weekly goal setting time with Nectar Collective and community! I may not always meet my goals, but I’m always glad I listed them out. If I’m not intentional things fall apart and this is a great way to combat that.

Last Week’s Goals

Play catch up with blog emails. Nailed it

Catch up on Bible in a year readings. Failed it although I made progress.

Stick with Tone it Up’s Week One schedule. Failed it:(. I’ve already slipped but will try to get back on it this week.

Eat better! More agua!- Nailed it. Still room for more improvement, but it was a much healthier week than the week before.

50% I’ll take it!!

This Week’s Goals

Catch up on the reading plan from last week!

Be in bed by 11 each night.

Stay on target at least with TIU toning routines if I can’t fit in the cardio.

Attend hygiene CE course

Prepare some of the apps I’m bringing to a baby shower this weekend done early.

Hope your week is magnificent!
