How were all your weekends? We had our first overnight guests with my husband’s sister and her husband from California! It was an action packed weekend, and besides catching up with our loved ones I was able to finally get out to see the Tulip festival because everything bloomed early this year. It’s been on my list for a while! We also stopped at Snoqualmie Falls the next day which is always a treat.
Sadly, time to shift from breathtaking views to the weekly routine. Setting goals helps ease that transition by getting my mind ready. Love goal-setting too? Head on over to The Nectar Collective and share away!
Last Week’s Goals
3 workouts. Knowing how crazy this week will be I’m keeping it real. Failed it. 2 workouts and near daily walks, but I wanted that 3rd workout to be more intense. Does housework count? It sure felt like a workout!!
Get my scheduled blog posts out. Time will be a challenge, but I’m really wanting to get them out. Nailed it! I got out what I wanted to last week.
Finish getting the house guest-ready. Nailed it! I’m pretty proud of how we turned our “throw everything” room into a quasi-welcoming guest room.
Drink that daily 72 oz of water. Nailed it. I think it’s time to increase the amount.
Keep up with my daily devotionals/Lent study. Failed it. Probably the most important goal too. I’m about 3 days behind.
This Week’s Goals
Increase daily water intake to 88oz.
3-4 30-minute workouts. Even if it’s just walking.
Get my wedding ring cleaned.
Organize the medicine cabinet.
Start on book club book.
Use my Clarisonic more.
We had so many leftovers last week that a couple of the meals I didn’t get to are showing up again.
Tuesday – Crockpot Italian Chicken with Kale salad.
Wednesday – Loaded Chicken Alfredo Gnocchi Bake with spinach salad.
Thursday – Broccoli Quinoa Casserole (I’ll probably add some ground turkey).
Friday – Zucchini Black Bean and Rice Skillet
Saturday –White Chicken Chili
Sunday – Overnight oats for breakfast inspired by these recipes. Should be plenty of leftovers this week for dinner.
