November is all about grace and gratitude.
Finish Book Club book, and the mystery novel I’m reviewing.
Continue on working to improve my blog, and plan out holiday posts.
Get back on the workout train.
Clean and organize the kitchen.
Start and finish #Shereadstruth Hospitality study.
My goals are more manageable this month. October taught me a valuable lesson on trying to do too much. There is only so much time in a day, and it’s better to do some things well then a lot of things not so well. I accomplished most of my October goals, except the working out and the Html/Dash investigation. Trying to give myself more grace this month:).
Friday was all about Halloween and the murder mystery party so look for the upcoming post this week. Murder Mysteries are so fun!
We even got some trick-or-treaters this year, which hasn’t happened in a long time!
Saturday was brunch with some dear friends with whom I always leave feeling encouraged, and then we got together with Eric’s cousin who was in town from Portland. We had (more) food at Boka Lounge/Hotel 1000 and then he gave us a tour of the Rainier Club, which was a really cool old building from 1904. In Seattle, that’s about as old as it gets. There was one room with a walk in fireplace! I spent the rest of the night recovering from Friday’s festivities, and in the blink of an eye it was Sunday. We serve in the nursery at church once a month, and had to get up a little early, but it’s worth it when you see those smiling little faces:). As for football, the Seahawks won and Sounders tied which helped the weekend finish on a good note.
This week’s meals are going to be a lot of leftovers from the Halloween party, and some eating out.
Good luck with all of your November goals and have a great week!
