As a kid, our neighbors had a large trampoline in their backyard. I pretty much thought it was the absolute coolest and would jump on it any chance I’d get. Which wasn’t enough considering my dad thought they were unsafe. Granted, there were hard metal springs with only a small plastic fabric ring covering the sides and nothing stopping you from going over.
